Flesh+Dots was born in London, on a sunny morning in October with black coffee, inspiration & daydreaming. Ioni is the person behind the scenes, the “hands” of this brand, Greek-born, London-based. She is a craftsgremlin known for her talisman tattoos, experimental textiles, queer art and playful point of view that uses her platform to share her art with short essays to raise awareness, empower and educate mainly on topics like Mental Health, Body Positivity, Queerness, Feminism and social issues. Ioni carries a deep respect for hand-crafted art and the process of creating. Her work finds shelter in her private studio in West London where art, craft and design are beautifully interlaced. 

Our name was chosen for the literal meaning of the two most important elements that interact with each other during our multidisciplinary work. With the hands alone, beautiful collectives of dots are created on paper, textiles, ceramics and one’s body and form modern talismans that exist forever. It’s not just about aesthetics, but also about the spirituality of the whole process, the connection & the interaction between colour, texture and pattern.

With a focus on sustainability, we are a zero-waste small company and we use, as little as possible, products that have an environmental impact on our planet. The art & the spiritual process of creating cannot walk hand in hand with waste and harming nature and animals.
